Audifort Fine Print

A retired claims adjuster reads the Audifort label, the price list and the refund rules

What Audifort really costs per day, and how the 90-day refund works in practice

Every claims file I ever closed came down to two questions: what did it cost, and what were the terms. Supplements are no different. Here is the arithmetic on Audifort's three packs and a plain reading of the refund policy, including the two details that catch people out.

The cost per day

Audifort is one dropper a day and each bottle holds 30 servings, so one bottle is a month. There's no single-bottle option. The smallest order is two bottles.

Audifort cost per day by pack

One dropper a day. The 2-bottle price includes $9.95 US shipping; the larger packs ship free.

PackPer day
2 bottles, 60 days$2.80
3 bottles, 90 days$2.30
6 bottles, 180 days$1.63

For comparison, $2.30 a day is about the price of a drugstore coffee. Over a year on the 6-bottle price it works out to roughly $600, which is worth saying out loud before anyone commits to a long run.

How much of each pack fits inside the refund window

This is the part almost nobody works out. The refund window is 90 days, and it starts on the day you order, not the day the box arrives. According to the shipping policy, orders take 1 to 2 business days to process and US delivery usually takes 5 to 10 days. So if your package lands around day 10, you have about 80 days of use before the refund deadline.

Share of each pack you can use before the refund deadline

Assumes delivery on day 10 and one dropper a day from then on. After day 90 you can still use the rest, but you can no longer return it.

That's why I'd start with the 3-bottle pack. You get close to the whole supply inside the window, free shipping and the two e-books, and if it isn't for you, you return what's left with plenty of time. The 6-bottle pack is the better price, but you'd be deciding about less than half the supply. That makes sense for a reorder, not a first try.

The refund, step by step

The refund terms are printed on the official site and a full write-up of the Audifort price and refund details matches what I read. Here's the procedure in order:

StepWhat you doDeadline or detail
1Email support@audifort.com and ask for a return authorization (RMA) number. Or call 1-866-374-5018.Within 90 days of the order date. Phones are staffed 7 days, 10 am to 1 am Eastern
2Pack the bottles, opened or not, and write the RMA on the outside.Opened or unopened
3Mail it to Returns66, 11870 62nd St. N, Largo, FL 33773.Within 14 days of getting the RMA. You pay the postage
4Email the tracking number and RMA back to support.Keep the receipt from the post office
5The warehouse receives and checks the package, then refunds your original payment.Shipping and handling are not refunded

Two traps, as promised.

The clock starts at checkout. If you order on the 1st, day 90 is roughly the end of the third month after that, no matter when the box shows up. Put the date on your calendar the day you order.

The RMA comes first. A box that arrives at the warehouse without a number may not get matched to your order. Get the number, then mail.

One more small one: if you refuse a delivery instead of returning it properly, the shipping fee comes out of the refund.

If the seller doesn't answer

Because ClickBank runs the checkout, it's the retailer of record. If you can't reach the company, ClickBank's customer support can look up the order by the email you used and handle a refund request. And as a last resort, a card dispute is your right. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau explains how to dispute a credit card charge, including the time limits. I'd use that only after trying the front door, because disputes take longer than the refund process does.

Buying it somewhere else

Search the name on Amazon or Walmart and you'll find listings. The company says it sells only through its own site, and the 90-day refund covers only orders placed there. A marketplace bottle may be genuine, old stock or something else entirely, and you'd have no refund from the maker either way. This piece on whether Audifort is sold on Amazon goes through the main stores one by one.

The FDA's own advice for people buying dietary supplements says the same thing in general terms: know who you're buying from and how to reach them. That's more or less my whole career in one sentence.

How I'd use the 90 days

A refund window is only worth something if you use it on purpose. Here's the plan I gave my sister-in-law when she ordered the 3-bottle pack last spring.

Before the first dose, she wrote down three things she could actually notice: how often she asked her husband to repeat himself at dinner, how tired she felt after church coffee hour, and how loud the hum in her left ear seemed when she woke up, on a 1 to 10 scale. Nothing fancy. A notebook by the coffee maker.

She took it every morning and made a mark in the notebook every Sunday. On day 60 she read back through it. Day 75 was her decision day, which left two weeks of slack before the window closed for getting the RMA, packing the bottles and getting to the post office.

I'm not going to tell you what her notebook said, because one person's notebook isn't evidence of anything, and I'd be doing exactly what I complain about in supplement ads. The point is the method, and it works the same whatever the result turns out to be. If you decide on day 75 with notes in front of you, you're deciding on facts. If you decide on day 89 from memory, you're guessing, and you're cutting it close on the paperwork.

Two other things I'd do on the day you order: save the confirmation email in a folder you'll find again, and write the support email and phone number on the box. Claims people are paranoid about records for a reason.

That's the money side. In the last piece I'll cover the other kind of fine print: who should check with a doctor before taking it, and how to tell the official order page from the copies.

Joyce Pettit spent twenty-six years adjusting insurance claims in Boise, which mostly meant reading what the policy actually said. Now she does the same with supplement offers her friends ask about. She has no medical training and gives no medical advice.
